Course overview: To present techniques to improve situational awareness in public and unfamiliar settings. To provide students with a framework or plan to deal effectively and avoid becoming a victim of criminal actions. To give the student an understanding of police response, and their needs to investigate any situation and how they can be a more effective witness.

Course Objectives:
At the completion of training, the student have an understanding of what to be observant of in unfamiliar or public settings.
At the completion of training, the student will be able to explain the force continuum and what level of force may be justified in self defense.
At the completion of training the student will be able to explain the value of “traveling in pairs”
At the completion of training the student will be able to explain what items of importance that they should have with them at all times.
At the completion of training, the student will be able to give a more detailed description to Law Enforcement Investigators.
At the completion of training the student will be able to explain, demonstrate and perform, low defensive kicks.
At the completion of training, the student will be able to explain, demonstrate and perform, head control, to render an attacker off balance
At the completion of training the student will be able to explain, demonstrate and perform escapes from a front or rear bear hug.
At the completion of training the student will be able to explain, demonstrate and perform escapes from wrist grabs.
At the completion of training the student will be able to explain, demonstrate and perform vortex movements (focus of power)
At the completion of training, the student will be able to explain, demonstrate and perform techniques to defend themselves from standing, kneeling and ground defensive positions.

Course Cost: $50, $75 for student and parent.
