VERDAD Investigations and Protection Inc. recently hosted the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors (IALEFI) Master Instructor Development Regional Training Conference at our range facility, September 12, 13,14, 2011
Some of the nation’s foremost firearms instructors and gun magazine writers attended classes or presented classes for other attending instructors to upgrade the skills of their in service personnel and be desiganted by IALEFI as MASTER Instructor.
The three day/28 hour event hosted 40 attendees who came from as far south as Florida and as far west as Vancouver, British Columbia and from the east in CT, MA, and NH to receive this cutting edge training. Each day focused on one weapon platform, rifle, shotgun and pistol, and Capt. Mike Boyle (ret.) held a four hour low light training segment as well. Other instructors included Sgt. Louann Hamblin (MI) teaching handgun skills and Master Gunsmith/Asst. Commander David Bowie, Adams Co. Sheriff’s Offic (OH) SWAT, teaching rifle, along with Mike Boyle who did double duty teaching shotgun and the low light segment.
Another conference is scheduled for July/August 2012.
