Course Description: This course is designed to give the defensive shooter with a reduced capacity pistol, the skills and tactics essential to prevail in defensive situations.
Focus will be on weapon presentation, speed and tactical reloading, methods to overcome the body’s reactions to threats and stress, ammunition/fire control, advantages and disadvantages of carrying a second weapon. We will discuss use of equipment, combative mindset and maintenance of skills and confrontational dynamics.
This course can be taken with revolvers or semi-auto pistols.
Course Reqirements: 200 rounds of ammunition, eye and hearing protection, 2 additional reloading devices, magazine or speedloader pouches and a serviceable holster
